Our Welcome Team is a vital part of our outreach as a church. It provides a friendly face to newcomers as well as long-time Vineyard attendees. We provide information about the church, help visitors find a seat or a Sunday School class, offer resources and information, and serve at our coffee and muffin counters at our weekend services. Becoming a part of the Welcome Team is an easy way to begin serving while making friends in the process. If you are interested in getting involved in any of the below ministry roles, contact Michael Meramble at mmeramble@desertvineyard.org or call the church office at 661-945-2777.

USHERS

WEEKEND SERVICES

Our ushers serve inside our sanctuaries during each service to help people find seats, collect our offering and direct people towards the resources they are looking for before and after services.

GREETERS

WEEKEND SERVICES

Our greeters are here to welcome everyone with a friendly smile and warm “hello” at all our doors. Greeters also hand out our weekend bulletins and can help you find resources or classes you are looking for.

INFORMATION TEAM

WEEKEND SERVICES

Those serving at our information counters and tables are knowledgable of all the things happening around the church. They can help you find the time and day a class meets or sign you up for an upcoming event.

COFFEE AND MUFFIN

WEEKEND SERVICES

Our coffee and muffin ministry has people selling the coffee and muffins, brewing new shuttles of coffee and handling the stocking of the products. It is a great way to give someone a refreshing drink or delicious snack with a smile, welcoming them into our services.

PARKING TEAM

WEEKEND SERVICES AND SPECIAL EVENTS

Our parking team helps guide traffic during the busy before and after service times. They are also there to help you find the building or class you are looking for.

SECURITY TEAM

THROUGHOUT THE WEEK

Our security teams provide a safe environment throughout our weekend service and during other weekly meeting on campus. They are here to help you if you have any issues while on our campus and are keeping a watchful eye on our buildings and parking lots.
